Privacy Policy

This site, creatordecide.com (“the site,” “we,” or “us”), is built around one principle: the calculators should never need your personal data to work. Almost everything is computed in your browser, and we don't ask for an email to see a result.

What we collect

1. Nothing you type into the calculators

Revenue numbers, filing status, brand deal offers, audience sizes — none of it leaves your browser. We don't store, log, or transmit calculator inputs anywhere. The math is all client-side.

2. Basic server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare keeps short-term logs of incoming requests — IP address, approximate geographic region, user agent, and which URL was requested. These logs exist for security and reliability (blocking attacks, spotting outages) and are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from these logs.

3. Analytics (planned)

We may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future (for example, aggregate page-view counts via a cookieless service). If and when that happens, we'll update this page with the specific vendor, what they see, and how to opt out.

4. Advertising (planned)

The site is planned to be ad-supported. When display ads are added, they may be served by third-party networks like Google AdSense, which may set cookies on your browser to show more relevant ads and measure performance. At that point:

• We will show a cookie-consent banner for visitors in jurisdictions where consent is required.
• You will be able to opt out of personalized ads via Google's ad personalization settings or, for third-party vendors collectively, via www.aboutads.info or your browser's built-in controls.
• This page will be updated to name the ad vendors, link their privacy policies, and describe the data they collect.

As of the “last updated” date above, no advertising or analytics cookies are set.

Cookies

The site does not set any first-party cookies of its own. If you use browser features like dark-mode preference or similar, those are stored in your browser's local storage — they never leave your device.

Third parties

We do not sell or share personal data. Current third parties with a role in the site:

• Cloudflare — hosting and CDN (privacy policy).
• Google Fonts — typography. Fonts are served directly from our own domain, so Google does not receive request-level data when you visit the site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (EU/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA, and similar regimes elsewhere), you may have the right to request:

• A copy of any personal data associated with you.
• Correction or deletion of that data.
• To opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of that data (we don't do either, but you have the right to ask).

Because we don't collect accounts, emails, or identifiers on the site, in most cases we don't have any personal data to return. If you believe we do, write to ideas@boringhaus.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

When we add analytics, ads, or any other data-collecting feature, we'll update this page and bump the “last updated” date. Material changes will be noted in the footer or a site banner.
